Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering & Technology (ABVGIET), Pragtinagar, Shimla (H.P) was established on 10th April,2011 with the aim of providing quality higher education on par with international standards. This is the second Government Engineering Institute of Himachal Pradesh. Presently ABVGIET is running three programmes i.e. B.Tech, Polytechnic and ITI. The institute was established with very pious motive of providing quality education at affordable price. Experienced teachers are strongly encouraged to nurture the students in all aspects. The highly motivated youngsters on the campus are a constant source of pride. Our efforts at ABVGIET has been to bring out potential of the young mind and to include high standards of professionalism so that they are able to excel in the challenging and competitive world.
